Art loving couple Tim and Denise Hardy bring more than 40 years experience in the art world to their Fitzwilliam Fine Art gallery in picturesque Grasmere.

Featuring high quality original works, the Lake District gallery offers a mixture of contemporary and traditional original paintings by established artists whose works hang in collections around the world. Recent acquisitions establish the gallery as leaders in antique Lakeland Watercolours.

Edward H Thompson

Edward H Thompson is widely regarded as one of the greatest Lakeland artists of his generation working in watercolour to capture the natural beauty of the ever changing landscapes of his native Cumbria. Today his works are considered highly collectable.

Carl Whitfield

Award-winning wildlife artist Carl Whitfield began his career as an airbrush artist undertaking commissions on motorcycles before combining his eye for detail with his love of nature resulting in finely detailed paintings which have attracted collectors from around the world.

Alfredo Navarro

Alfredo Navarro Montllor was born in Alcoy (Alicante) in 1965. His father was also an accomplished artist and was brought up with art from an early age.
His specialist technique of painting the sea in all its different forms is admired by his collectors and artists alike.

Ric Duffield

Ric Duffield studied art and music at teacher training college, in 1974 he went on to become an illustrator.
In 2001 he became a freelance artist & his skills have brought recognition in both wildlife and landscape painting.

Ruby Keller

Ruby Keller Design is the pseudonym of Lancashire artist Peter Worswick who now works from his Cumbria studio. His loose style with vibrant colours have made him one of the most collectible award-winning artists in the UK with his work increasingly in demand.

Iban Navarro

Iban Navarro was born in Barcelona in 1982, the son of great still life & realist Jesus Navarro. Iban was encouraged from a very early age by his father to experiment in a unique style & worked very hard with the medium of tempera. This is an ancient method of mixing egg yoke & occasionally with oily pastel added. Few artists are able to master the technique.

New Artist Roger Young

Roger has been painting to a very high standard for over 30 years. Originally concentrating on birds painted in high detail, he changed to painting still life’s in oil twelve years ago. Attractive compositions coupled with a skilful painting technique make his paintings very eye catching. He has won numerous awards & his paintings are highly collectable by discerning clients throughout the UK, Europe & USA.

Reme Junior is an experienced painter from Bulgaria whose works have been featured in exhibitions internationally. Growing up in a family of artists, Junior developed his artistic style painting still life’s & natural scenes in watercolor, acrylic & oil. His work is inspired by modern life & has a realist quality, rendering the everyday in great detail.

Andrew Grant Kurtis

The Gallery is delighted to have just acquired a collection of Andrew Grant Kurtis paintings.
Now in his eighties, this collection is between 30 and 40 years old when Kurtis was painting at his finest quality.

Emilio Paya

Attracted to Paris and Venice, Paya’s boulevard and canal scenes are signature pieces. Payes work is now known world wide and is displayed in many Art Galleries and homes of many Aristocrats including Fahd Bin Salman Bi in Saudi Arabia.

Allan Morgan

Born in 1952, Allan Morgan is a full time artist living in the beautiful border country of Herefordshire and Powys.

He studied at Swansea and Coventry art colleges for 5 years and graduated with a BA in Fine art painting and embarked on a career as an illustrator. Since then, his professional career has focused on realist landscape painting.

Recently he decided to extend his style and take a more colourist approach. The basis of his inspiration is largely due to his love of colour, light, and atmosphere in landscape. Allan spent many years living near the coast, he regularly returns to this subject matter.
